3-6-9 Method
Have you heard about the 3-6-9 method? It is what I give credit to when I landed my first 6 digit salary. I think it is so powerful and I want to teach you how to use it.
3 6 9 Method and How I Use It
I purchased a 3 6 9 method journal from Amazon when I randomly came across it. I've always been a big believer in manifestation and law of attraction but the journal gave me structure and a way to really put my thoughts down on paper as well as a guide for how it worked.
The technique is simple. You write your intention 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon and 9 times in the evening. Each time, envisioning the outcome you want to see but also coming up with a plan of action. My first intention was "I have a new job that pays incredibly well." I wrote that 18 times and made my list of actions that I needed to take. Talking with someone that had reached out about an opportunity, talking to my current manager and spending time with my family. That same day, I was given a salary range that was $50,000 above my current pay. Our life changed that day.
Many people associate the numbers 3, 6, and 9 with inventor Nikola Tesla because of quotes attributed to him about these numbers representing "the key to the universe.
"Whether Tesla actually intended anything mystical by those statements is widely debated.
The modern 3-6-9 manifestation routine that appears on social media isn't something Tesla created.
Instead, it's a modern journaling exercise inspired by ideas surrounding manifestation, visualization, positive psychology, and intentional goal setting.Whether you see the 3-6-9 method as manifestation, mindfulness, or simply structured journaling, its greatest strength is consistency.
Writing the same intention every day reminds you what you're working toward.
It helps filter distractions, encourages gratitude and nudges you toward making decisions that align with the future you're trying to create.
